Billings Photography is owned and operated by Chad and Sarah Billings in Paradise, CA. Chad is the primary Photographer and Sarah is the second Photographer during the busy wedding season. When Sarah is not available as a second Photographer, Chad's Father, Bruce Billings, who is also a seasoned photographer, fills in. 

 

Photography didn't start as Chad's primary medium in art.  He has always been an artist; it would be that Chad would become a photographer by accident...  

 

Chad graduated Chico State with a BA in Studio arts (Sculptures, Paintings, Printmaking.) After graduating he began to contemplate what he was going to do for an art career. That is when he found a job at a Portrait Studio is the Chico Mall.  After three years, thousands of sittings, and having the privilege of learning from two very knowledgeable photographers, he had the skill set to make it on his own. With his wife's help, he started Billings Photography.

 

The human experience, which takes place during photo sessions, and the portraits that are produced make Chad increasingly passionate about the field.  The ever changing tools and the always growing digital editing elements of photography make it an ongoing adventure.  At Billings Photography we are always trying new things with our clients; in this our style is always evolving.  Currently our style is most accurately described as modern.  We use strong angles and vibrant color along with a strong focus on the subject to create photographs which are as engaging and fundamentally strong as possible.  We work hard to bring out the best in each of our clients.  The way the sun was warm on your shoulder, the breeze which blew through your hair, the giggle from your baby, the unity and love of a family, or the love for another being. It’s all yours forever captured in a photograph.
